Where it started
The first story-based video I ever made, and the start of my love for videography. Though I had always been interested in filmmaking and cinematography, having grown up watching documentaries like Planet Earth, I never took the leap from comfort zone in photography. Filmed and edited during March, 2024. This is the first video created for Africa Media’s coursework.
Trying something new
The idea of working with people was daunting to me, but it was a task I was eager to pursue. This is the second video created for Africa Media’s coursework, with my instructor as the lovely model. Filmed and edited during March, 2024.
Getting uncomfortable
What’s going to get me more out of my comfort zone than working with people? Working with myself. Quite an awkward experience, but we managed :). The video itself is definitely not a masterpiece, but it is a testament not only to my determination, but my love for conservation and the natural world. Many tears were shed creating this video. This is the 3rd and final project video for Africa Media’s coursework of March, 2024.
Cut the music
I noticed I rely too heavily on music, so I wanted to make a video without it. Looking back, the sound design is terrible, but hey, everyone starts somewhere. Filmed over the summer months of 2024.
